Shannon Shine founder of Shine Time Studios is a visionary mixed media artist whose work blends intuitive expression, vibrant color, and layered storytelling.

Her most recent collections dive deep into the energy of expression and emotion during the power of feeling deeply with eyes closed in meditation, prayer, or dreamstates. She is also known for drawing inspiration from the magic of the mountains, nature, mystical creatures, and feminine empowerment.

Shannon creates emotionally rich portraits and dreamlike expressions that awaken a sense of wonder and inner strength in the viewer. Her process is rooted in not only creative play but a deep rooted sense of healing through the creation process. Combining watercolor, acrylic, oils, and mixed media textures to reveal imagery that feels both otherworldly and taps into the feeling of deep human emotions.

With over a decade of professional experience, Shannon’s artist journey started at a very young age when her grandmother showed her art as a healing practice. This began after loosing her mom at 6 years old and her father at 10, leading her to be raised by many families through the loss of both of her parents and several other guardian figures before the age of 15.

 She learned quickly that art was going to be an outlet that helped her process emotions on a deep spiritual level, maybe before she even understood the realms of the spiritual. Her artwork helped her bring to life the layers of emotions that one discovers through the grief and healing process and transmute it through color and symbolism. Exploring the connection between life, death, and meditative rebirth through the chapters of our own lives and the connections to the real world, animals, elements, and beyond that keep us wondering what is really out there.

Shannon has exhibited across galleries and festivals in the Mid-Atlantic, from curating her own galleries in the heart of the Appalachian mountains to solo and group shows in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and beyond. Her work is collected internationally, as she has shipped pieces to various countries, including works sent to Canada and Singapore.  Shannon is also an active member of a number of artist communities and collectives, curating immersive art spaces at festivals and community events.

In addition to her visual art Shannon loves to inspire others through her journey. She is also known as a speaker, creative guide, and host of the We Are Artists podcast and the Bring Me 2 Life Network, where she amplifies the voices and visions of fellow creatives.

Whether painting a mural or hosting a pop-up class, her mission remains the same: to invite others into deeper connection while healing through art, energy, and expression.
